The Power of Support


Wow, what a journey it's been! The recovery process hasn't gone as expected for me or my doctors. However, I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible support from everyone at UCSF Thoracic Surgery, UCSF Interventional Radiology, and UCSF Pain Management. They've been amazing, checking in on me, calling me, and cheering me on towards wellness!


This experience feels like being in the ring with a world-class boxer and then getting run over by a train. I've got real scars, both emotional and physical, that remind me every day of what I've overcome.


Embracing the Healing Journey


Healing is not just about the physical aspect; it encompasses emotional and spiritual dimensions as well. I’ve learned to embrace a holistic approach to my recovery. This means nurturing my body, mind, and spirit simultaneously.


Nurturing the Body


To begin with, I focused on nourishing my body with wholesome foods. I discovered the power of essential oils, which have played a significant role in my healing. These natural remedies, deeply rooted in traditional Asian medicine, have helped me find balance and tranquility.
